Fast & Efficient Deal!

Close a deal today! I was sleeping late today when a phone call woke me up. Some guy called asking if my Creative mp3 player was still available and of course I replied yes and freshen up immediately! Finally someone wanted to buy my mp3 player. Was rather worried that I can't sell it off after I bought my iPod. Anyway, this guy sounds rather sincere and interested so after explaining some details to him, he arranged to meet up at City Hall at around 3pm.

The quality of the pic i posted on Yahoo auction did me much favour! So we met up at City Hall Starbucks and the deal was settled in less than 10 minutes! He played around for a while and paid me cash as he was very satisfied with what he saw. (coz honestly speaking, my player was in a very good condition!) Now I'm gonna close the bid on my Yahoo Auction account...

Friday da 13th = fun

Ok not exacty fun during the day coz of work, etc... had to sit thru' a rather unpleasant meeting in the morning. Another unfruitful day of work, at least, for my point of view. Anyway, manage to have some decent fun of soccer in the early evening as we kick-off small Teo's testimonial match. It has been months since we had soccer on friday evening. But too bad small Teo can't score leh... I kept passing him the ball so that he had chance to score on his last match with us coz he's leaving for other work opportunities elsewhere.

Anyway, kinda rush after the soccer game... Garry had to drove me home to shower n get change for our steamboat dinner at Marina South. Yan is back from Hong Kong for only bout 2 weeks and we're glad to invite him into our midst for the dinner.

JJ had actually no intention of joining us for the dinner but ultimately came, after I persuaded him to and being " pressured" by the rest. He has been feeling kinda depressed due to some problems... so I had to keep telling him to relax and enjoy our company and to have fun for the rest of the night. We had actually plan to get him drunk but as I guess we decided not to do that.

Hongkie boy Yan is only back for 2 weeks, so gotta treasure him.... Look at him! Sleepy or seductive?

1st day of class

Today, or rather Thurs 12 Jan, my 1st day of my new ACCA 2.5 Financial Reporting module. It's back to the same old days of hectic work + study schedule....hard to adjust back my mentality especially after all the fun since Christmas, New Year and the the coming Chinese New Year. Anyway, the day started of with rain (damn! has been raining for the past 1 week already leh...) then on to some normal work stuffs and thankfully a rather short meeting in the late afternoon, so I can make it to class earlier today. Ha ha and today suppose to meet Trish for dinner before class coz she's now taking ACCA in the same school as me. But that ever-blur Trish forgotten to brought her mobile and thus we didn't make it for dinner.

Class size this module was rather small as compared to previous modules so I can manage to pay more attention instead of looking at the ladies.... ha ha. Lecturer started out telling us we have 146 days to exams! What a way to inaugurate the 1st class....no comments. I must say this module will be another tough one to conquer so my aim this time round is to attend every single lectures (I manage to do that last year... yeah!) Lots of Financial Standards (bout 28 of them!) to learn and apply throughout the whole module n the exams. Lecturer was able to capture the class's attention throughout and make it interesting though.

wait at the lobby for Trish lor... she appears with some friends after her Law class and as usual, smile then talk talk talk.... actually I'm rather tired today but nevertheless accompany her home hor. I've just finish reading 17 pages of notes and now gonna zzz liao so gotta long day tml. Oh ya tml after work, my section is going to Marina South for steamboat dinner. Should be fun. Better standby my camera coz I'm going to make someone drunk tml!!! Oh by the way, Yan is back from Hong Kong yesterday but only for 2 weeks and he promise he'll join us for the dinner.
